Back To The 8th Century BC

Entrance to the Archeological Museum in Lacco Ameno. Here we may descend through the layers of history and see artifacts and grave goods of the Phoenician and Greek settlers on the island of Ischia, dating to the 7th and 8th centuries BC. My dear friend Maestro has promised to provide some details about the intriguing things that may be found here.

At The Prow

Maestro, also known by all as Deacon Gieuseppe Iacono, stands at the ship’s prow pulpit in the church adjoining the archeological museum in Lacco Ameno. Below the cut he will, as in the previous entry, supply details of the wonders within these historic walls.
