Grave Goods





For a change of pace yesterday I hiked through the trail up and over Punta Caruso, and took a few shots from the elegant grounds of Grande Albergo Mezzatore. This is a view looking southeast toward Baia di San Montano, where Greeks settled around 700 BC, and where the famous Cup of Nestor and countless other grave goods were unearthed by archeologists.
