That's just a crying shame! Grafiti in such a pristine place is just wrong.

Well, it's not as bad as it seems. That chapel regularly gets a fresh coat of stucco whether it needs it or not, and it's past due anyway. And the spray painters avoided sullying the entrance, just attacked the sides and rear. Also, the whole thing apparently was triggered by LOVE. Or lust.

Where are the photos of this place which you've taken which don't contain the graffiti?

How recently did this happen? And why would anyone put graffiti on a church, when there are so many other places to put it?

I have a large number of photos of Soccorso Chapel safely in my archives, and besides, the good news is that they put a fresh coat of stucco on that building once or twice a year, and it was already due.

As for the graffiti, well, it occurred yesterday in the darkness before dawn, and it appears to be motivated by love, or perhaps puppy love, or maybe it was lust under the influence of drugs. Kids these days! What are you gonna do with them?
