For me there’s nothing more calming than a gentle summer rain…

good photography of course but for me there
is the hiccup as it were that my impulse is to
tip the chair up and drain off the peaceful
looking puddle perhaps then give the whole a
swipe with something and sit on the chair.

When I took the wide shot I thought it would accurately convey what I saw, which was rain, but of course those zillions of drops were blurred and left only a haze, or "not-rain." So that led me to the chair. On its surface was not irrefutable evidence of present rain, which I was seeking, but of rain past.

In any event, the rain continued to be calming, as was my attempt to capture it.
