Name That Bird!

Can anyone identify the kind of bird portrayed on this Chinese vase of the Qianlong period???

Blue Footed Booby. I don't actually know if it is or not, I just wanted to use "Blue Footed Booby" as an answer.

But how does providing that answer make you FEEL?

In seeing the results, I would say it made me feel like...

A Blue Footed Booby.

I don't know *for sure* but I would guess a pheasant.

I have no idea. I tend to assume it's birds are supposed to be phoenixes

The narrow head plume says pheasant!

The pheasant was pleasant. It was painted by a peasant.
